Our mission
  1. Integrate and share diverse ideas and knowledge to strengthen a community of conservation scientists and encourage professional development within EEB;
  2. Communicate and apply conservation science beyond EEB to inform conservation solutions and positive change.

Our philosophy
Four Rs of conservation
Refrain: Avoiding negative impacts on nature as far as possible.
Reduce: Minimising damage to nature where it cannot be completely avoided.
Restore: Remediating any immediate damage to nature.
Renew: Investing in revitalising nature.
Our passion, our research, ours to protect: Freshwater and marine, land and air, flora and fauna

Monthly Meetings

We meet at least monthly to discuss contemporary issues, exchange ideas, refine skills, and build networks in the conservation sciences. Please see our Upcoming Events page for specifics about our next meeting. We are fortunate to regularly host visitors to share their work!
